“Ichigo Ichie” — Once in a Lifetime (the spirit of the tea ceremony)
This is the spirit of the tea ceremony that Sen no Rikyū held dear.
This one moment, now, will never come again.
That is precisely why we give our whole heart to welcoming one another.
Every encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime treasure, never to be repeated. With gratitude for this very moment, I carried each and every stroke of the brush.
